CLIMBING

Silence in the meadows
Shatters an innocent’s mind
The progeny ponders
Only on prominent memories
Shadows now hang in the air
Valleys wrap themselves in heaps
Deep waters now run too deep

Steep road I creep
Step by step
The steed loses his tail
No weeping for pale sights
Same shadow begins to linger
On silent screams
We weep for the dead at night
Faces no longer see the light
And silent screams now fill up the sky
